Welcome Back to Heartfelt Creations Wednesday


Thanks for stopping by and taking a look at the my newest creation for Heartfelt Creations.  This week I made a layout featuring some of the February new releases.  I love many different looks you can get from these stamps and dies.  These pages are a tribute to my wonderful mother in law that passed away last May.  It was a terrible lost for our whole family and we miss her.  We are planning a special time to celebrate her life with family and friends as a special way to remember.

How it is made:
The base for the two page layout is (2) 12”x 12” black card stock.  Cut lavender card stock at             5 3/8”x 4 1/8” to mat the top picture.  Cut a second mat out of purple card stock at 5 1/2"x 4 1/4".  Mat picture with both mats and add to the top right of black card stock.  Stamp candle image from Butterfly and Lilies PreCut set on white card stock with Tuxedo Black ink.  Color images with Copic markers.  Stamp (2) of the smallest lilies and (1) of the second smallest lilies.  Color all the lilies with Copic markers and then cut out using the machine dies and a die cut machine.  Attach the extra lilies to the candles image with pop dots and then add the entire image to the page with pop dots.  Stamp the cross image on white card stock with Tuxedo Black ink.  Color the image with Copic Markers.  Trim the cross using scissors.    Use the cross die and die cut machine and cut out an ornate cross with purple card stock.  Again stamp extra lilies on white card stock with Tuxedo Black ink.  Cut out the lilies with the matching dies and a die cut machine.  And attach to the cross image with pop dots.  Save any extra lilies that you have left to use on the other page.  Attach cross to the layout next to the top picture in the right hand upper corner.  The journaling at the bottom right corner is computer generated on white card stock and is cut at 4”x 4”.  The lavender card stock is cut 4 1/8”x 4 1/8” and cut the purple card stock at 4 1/4"x 4 1/4".  Mat journaling block on the lavender then the purple card stock.  Attach three lavender gemstone to the bottom of the journaling block.  Stamp the Remembering with you sentiment on white card stock using the Grape Jelly ink.  Cut out the sentiment with smallest classic oval and a die cut machine.  Cut a mat for the sentiment with purple card stock and the smallest beaded oval die and a die cut machine.  Attach the sentiment to the center on the mat and attach three lavender gemstones.   Attach above the journaling block using pop dots. 
Next stamp (2) of the largest Lily Petals, (2) of the next smallest Lily Petals, and (2) of the next smallest Lily Petals on white card stock and using Sweet Plum ink.  Then sponge Lulu Lavender on the petals.  Cut out the petals using the matching petals dies with a die cut machine.  Then using the Paper Blossoms molding mat and tool kit to shape the flowers to a cone shape.  Add a stigma to the center of the flower and use Zip Dry paper glue to form the Calla Lilies.  Allow to dry.  Add floral wire and wrap with florist tape.  Make all the calla lilies.  Gather (2) bundles of three calla lilies each using ribbon to tie them together.  Add bows made both types of ribbon and then add them to the floral bouquets.  Attach one under the top picture at a slight angle.  Save the second bouquet for the other page.    
After adding the calla lilies bouquet to the second page of the layout, it is time to mat the pictures.  Cut the black card stock at 4 1/8”x 4 3/4".  Cut purple card stock at 4 1/4"x 4 7/8”.  Mat the picture on the black mat first and then purple.  When matting the picture be sure to add them to the top of the mats and add purple ribbon to the bottom of the photo.  Add to the top left of the layout.  Add a bow to the ribbon.  Cut lavender card stock at 4 1/8”x 4 1/8.  Cut purple card stock at 4 1/4"x 4 1/4".  Layer other picture on the lavender card stock and then the purple card stock.  Attach to the layout at the bottom right.  Journaling block is computer generated.  Cut out the journaling with the largest classic oval die and a die cut machine.  Cut out a mat for the journaling using the largest beaded oval die and a die cut machine.  Attached journaling to the center of the mat add to the layout at the bottom left of the page.   Stamp the butterfly image on white card stock with Tuxedo Black ink and color with Copic markers.  Cut out image with scissors and add to the journaling using a pop dot.  Attach the second calla lily bouquet in the center of the page between the two matted pictures.  Add a cluster of lilies at the top right corner of the layout, adhering with pop dots and zots to give dimension.

Posy Swirls for Paper Temptress




This is my newest creation for Paper Temptress Design Team.  It features one of my favorite paper lines, the Mica/Metallic line.  If you have not had a chance to use the Mica/Metallic paper, make sure to check out the Paper Temptress.  There a many beautiful colors to choose from.  The details for products used and how it is made is listed below.

Products Used:
·         Black card stock
·         White card stock
·         Memento Ink Pad-Tuxedo Black
·         Be Creative Tape Sheets
·         Crystal Glitter Ritz-Micro Fine Glitter
·         Stamps and Dies are from Heartfelt Creations
·         Zots
·         Die cutting machine
·         Liquid Pearls-Peacock
·         Organza ribbon

How it is made:
·        
       Cut white card stock at 6”x 9¼”.  Score at 4⅝” to form card base.
·         Cut Lagoon Mica/Metallic card stock at 5⅞”x 4½”.  Attach to card base. 
·         Apply tape sheet to white card stock.  Cut card stock at 4⅜”x 3”.  Remove backing to expose adhesive and apply Crystal Glitter Ritz.  Apply Crystal Glitter Ritz to scraps of card stock with tape sheet.  Stamp six of the smallest posies and one each of the next two smallest posies. With the Tuxedo Black ink.  Cut out the single flowers with matching dies and die cutting machine.
·         Stamp floral swirl design on glitter paper with Tuxedo Black ink. 
·         Cut Lagoon Mica/Metallic card stock at 4½”x 3 ⅛”.  Attach stamped image to the Lagoon card stock.
·         Cut black card stock at 4⅝”x 3¼”.  Attached matted stamped image to the black card stock.  Add ribbon to matted image and add to card front.
·         Add a small bow to the ribbon. 
·         Add the single flowers to the stamped image on using zots and fold up edges to add dimension to the flowers. 
·         Add Liquid Pearls to the center of the flowers.  Allow to dry.

Welcome back to Heartfelt Creations Wednesday.  I am so glad that you have stopped by.  This week's project features the Twining Clematis from the February new release.  This new release is such a versatile set of stamps and dies.  You can achieve many looks from the flowers just by the colors that you choose to use.  They can be used for everyday designs and for the special occasions.  Be sure to stop by Heartfelt Creations Blog and be inspired by all the talented design team members creations this week.

How it is made:

Cut white card stock at 8”x 10 3/4".  Score the card stock at 5 3/8” to form card base.  Cut fuchsia card stock at 7 7/8”x 5 1/4".  Attach to card base.  Cut black card stock at 6 5/8”x 5”.  Cut fuchsia card stock at 4 3/4"x 6 3/8”.  Use embossing folder and die cutting machine and emboss fuchsia card stock.  Attach embossed card stock to black card stock.  Attach white organza ribbon to embossed card stock and then add to the center of card base.  Cut white card stock at 3 1/2”x 3 1/2”.  Stamp Twining Clematis towards the bottom left corner of the white card stock with Tuxedo Black ink.  Color vines and leaves with the Cottage Ivy Memento marker.  Color the flowers with the Copic markers.  Outline the flowers with the C1 Copic marker. Stamp the sentiment in Tuxedo Black ink on top right of stamping block. On a scrap of white card stamp the three smallest Clematis flowers with Tuxedo Black ink.  Color the flower images with Copic markers.  Use the Cross and Lilies Die and the die cutting machine to cut out the flowers.  Set aside until later.  Cut black card stock at 3 3/4"x 3 3/4".  Attach stamped image to black card stock and add to card front.  Add the largest stamped flower to the stamped image using a pop dot.  Attach to three other stamped flowers to the top right hand corner of the card front in a cluster with pop dots.  Add a small organza bow to the ribbon on card front.

Heartfelt Creations Wednesday-Welcome Slate



 

Welcome to Heartfelt Creations Wednesday.  This week's project is features a few of the beautiful beautiful flower precut sets and dies, along with the Cardinal Family PreCut set and dies.  I thought it would be a good idea to be able to show how you can use these for something other than cards or layouts.  Again it shows how versatile Heartfelt Creations products are.

Other:  Slate plaque, white card stock, mint green card stock, vellum, Bow Easy, green organza ribbon, die cutting machine, Staz-On ink Jet Black, Memento ink: Cottage Ivy, Tuxedo Black, Copic Markers: R08, R29, E37, RV11, RV55, BV01, BV04, B21, B45, pink, purple and blue gemstones

How it is made:
Stamp several of all sizes of each of the daisy and posy stamps.  Color the stamped images with Copic markers.  Cut out the colored images using a die cut machine and the matching die cuts to go with each stamp.  Using the Paper Blossoms Molding Mat and Tool kit to shape your flowers and then use Zip Dry glue and layer the flowers together to give them dimension.  Add colored gemstones to the center of the flowers and attach to slate plaque.  Stamp several of the smallest leaves from the Botanical Floral 2 set.  Cut them out using a die cut machine and the die from the Rose Creations dies.  Add the leaves to the slate plaque, tucking them between the flowers.  Stamp sentiment from the Door to my Heart PreCut Set on vellum using Staz-On ink Jet Black.  Rip the edges of the vellum to size and attach to slate plaque.  Attach two flowers over the corners of the vellum to help hide the tape marks on the vellum.  Stamp two of the largest cardinal stamp from the Cardinal Family PreCut set on white card stock with Tuxedo Black ink.  Color both images with Copic Markers and cut out using die cut machine and die from Cardinal Family dies.  Attach one cardinal to other cardinal using Pop Dot in the center of the image and Zip Dry glue at both head and tail to give cardinal dimension.  Attach to slate plaque near sentiment.  Make a bow with the green organza ribbon and the Bow Easy.  Attach bow to slate plaque under the cardinal.

How it is made:
Cut white card stock at 6”x 9”.  Score the card stock at 2 1/4” and at 4 1/2”.  This will form the card base.  Cut a piece of white card stock at 6”x 4 1/2".  Attach the card stock to the card base by adhering to the folded section at the top only.  This will create a pop up card.  Cut a piece of the pink card stock at 5 7/8”x 4 3/8”.  Attach to the card front.  Cut another piece of the pink card stock at 5 7/8”x 4 3/8” and attach to the inside of the card.  Cut a piece of the pink print card stock at 5 7/8”x 2 1/2".  Adhere the piece to the inside of the card at towards the bottom.  On white card stock stamp the candle and lilies image from the Butterfly and Lilies PreCut Set.  Color image with Copic markers, then using the smallest oval from Grand Scalloped Ovals and a die cutting machine cut out the colored and stamped image.  Cut out a mat with the Core-dinations card stock using the second smallest Grand Scalloped Oval die and die cutting machine.  Attach the stamped image to the mat then attach to the card front.  Stamp several of the three smallest lilies on white card stock with Tuxedo Black ink.  Color the lilies with Copic markers. Cut out the colored lilies using the Lilies die and a die cutting machine.  Add three of the lilies to the stamped image on the card front using Pop Dots.  Add a cluster of the lilies on the bottom of the inside of the card using Pop Dots and Zots to adhere.  Stamp the butterfly image from the Butterfly and Lilies PreCut set on white card stock in Tuxedo Black ink.  Cut out the image with scissor and add to card front using a Pop Dot.  Stamp sentiment from Inspire Me Sentiments on white card stock with Tuxedo Black ink.  Attach to inside of card at the bottom right.  Add a small lily in the corner of the sentiment with a Zot.

Welcome Back to Heartfelt Creations Wednesday

Welcome to Heartfelt Creations Wednesday!  We have been experiencing some odd weather in our area.  I am not really complaining.  I do not mind having little snow and rather warm temperatures for January.  My mind has begun thinking of Spring.  That is the inspiration for this week's design.  When I was looking for a stamp to use this week, this beautiful cardinal and flowers reminded me of when all things started to bloom and the birds return.  This card features stamps from the Cardinal and Posy collections.

Spring to New Beginnings

Other:  Memento Ink Tuxedo Black, Big Shot, Pop Dots, white card stock, red cardstock, black card stock, red organza ribbon, Bow Easy, Zots, Copic Markers: RV00, R85, YR08, E25, YG61, YG97, C1, R27, R29, R39

How it is made:
Cut white card stock at 8”x 10 3/4”.  Score at 5 3/8” to form card base.  Cut red card stock at 7 7/8”x 5 1/4”.  Cut black card stock at 7 3/4"x 5 1/8”.  Attach black card stock to red card stock mat.  Attach red organza ribbon to mats and add to the front of the card base.  Make a small bow with red organza ribbon and Bow Easy and attach to ribbon on front of card.  One white card stock stamp cardinal and flower image in Tuxedo Black.  Color the images with Copic Markers. Outline stamped and colored image with Copic marker C1.  Cut out image, cutting close to design edge.  Attach to card base using pop dots.  On white card stock, stamp the largest cardinal from the Cardinal Family Precut set with Tuxedo Black ink.  Color image with Copic markers.  Cut out the image using the largest die from the Cardinal Dies and a die cutting machine.  Attach bird image on card front using pop dots and Zip Dry glue at the head and tail.  Stamp many of the second, third and fourth smallest posy flowers from Posy Patch Flowers PreCut set on white card stock with Tuxedo Black ink.  Color flowers using Copic markers.  Cut out flowers using the Posy Patch flower dies and die cutting machine.  Attach Posy Patch flowers on the card base.  Apply Art Glitter Glue to the center of the flowers and add Pink Gala Glitz.  With the extra stamped and cut out flowers, layer two flowers on top of each other.  Add the Art Glitter Glue to the center of the flowers and add Pink Gala Glitz.  Apply the extra flowers randomly to card front using Zots and Pop Dots.
