Heartfelt Creations Alumni Design Team Blog Hop

Hi everyone, it is the last Tuesday of the month so today is the beginning of the Heartfelt Creations Alumni Design Team’s monthly Blog Hop.  I am so excited since will be my first blog hop.  This month the participating design team members are:

Lisa (That’s me)

One of our blogs will be randomly chosen and from all those that commented on that blog, the will be again, randomly chosen.  The blog hop will remain open for comments on everybody’s blog through midnight Friday night June 1st.  The winner will be posted here noon on Saturday, June 2nd.  The winner will receive a $25 gift certificate.

For my card I used HCPC 3325 Daisy Patch Bouquet PreCut Set and HCPC 3318 Daisy Patch Flowers PreCut Set stamped with Memento black ink.  I colored the flowers with Copic markers.  I then used HCD 703 Daisy Patch Flowers Die Cut to cut out the flowers.  I added Black Gala Glitz to the centers of the daisies.

I hope you enjoy my newest creation.  Thanks for looking and don’t forget to visit the other design team member’s blogs for more inspiration.

Home Tweet Home for Paper Temptress

Hi again Paper Temptress Fans.  This is my newest creation for the Paper Temptress Design Team.  The spring weather and the flowers were the inspiration for this project.

Paper Temptress Products Used:
·         Autumn Hay Glimmer Card Stock

Other Products Used:
·         Premade Wood Bird House
·         Blue and White Acrylic Paint
·         Flower Stamps and Dies are from Heartfelt Creations
·         Memento Ink Pads-Dandelion, Grape Jelly, Rose Bud
·         Purple Gem Stones
·         Pink Gem Stones
·         Yellow Organza Ribbon
·         Hot Glue Gun
·         Die Cut Machine

How It Is Made:
·         I started out by painting the bird house.  The house is painted in a light blue and the roof and fence in a white.  Then using the die cut machine with the leaves and swirls die cut it out using the Emerald Mica/Metallic card stock.  Add it to the front of the bird house using whatever type of adhesive you choose.  I used my hot glue to adhere it.  I stamped several of two sizes of the rose petals on the Autumn Hay Glimmer card stock with the Dandelion ink pad.  I cut out the flower petals with the matching die and die cut machine.  I shaped the flower petals a little by hand and glued them together to form the rose.  I attached the roses to the front of the bird house using the hot glue gun.  Next stamp several of the daisy flowers the three smallest sizes with Grape Jelly ink on Amethyst Mica/Metallic card stock.  Cut out the daisies using the matching die and a die cut machine.  Shape the flowers a little by hand.  Layer the different size daisies together.  Add a purple gem stone to the center of each of the daisies and attach the daisies to the bird house using the hot glue gun.  Last you will stamp several of the posy flowers with Rose Bud ink pad on Mountain Rose Glimmer card stock.  Cut out the posies with the matching die and die cutting machine.  Shape the flowers a little bit by hand.  Layer the different size posies together.  Add a pink gem stone to the center of the posies.  Add them to the bird house using a hot glue gun.  Add a bow made out of yellow organza ribbon.
