Welcome to Heartfelt Creations Wednesday

Good Morning everyone.  Thanks so much for stopping by.  This is my newest creation for Heartfelt Creations.  The project I created this week is a Gift card holder.  I hate to give a gift card in something boring and this is anything but.  When you remove the top there is a wonderful surprise inside waiting for that someone special.

The inside of this box features the Regal Poinsettia 2 PreCut Stamp set from Heartfelt Creations.  It is located in there Limited Edition Section and will be only be available until December 31.  So if you would like this set of stamps or any other of the limited edition stamps head on over to Heartfelt Creations and place your orders now.

Would you like to be able to make one for yourself.  Look below for products used and how I did it.

Heartfelt Creations Products:

Other:  white card stock, silver card stock, white pearls, ⅝” wide white satin organza ribbon, silver embossing powder, Sizzix Big Shot, Heat Gun, Vellum, Versamark Ink Pad, zots
Cut white card stock at 11”x 11”.  Score at 4” on all four sides.  Cut out the four corner pieces.  Fold on score lines to form box shape.  Cut another piece of white card stock at 6¼” x 6¼” to make a lid for the box.  Score the lid at 1½” on all four sides.  Now turn the piece of card stock over and score from the tip of each corner diagonally until you meet your scored corner line.  Fold all your score lines and pinch corners and fold them inward.  Glue the corners in place.  I recommend using Zip Dry to glue the corners.  While waiting for glue to dry you can secure the corners with paper clips.  Using silver card stock cut four panels at 3⅞”x 2⅞”.  Attach the panels to the outside panels of the box.  Using white card stock cut four panels at 3¾”x 2¾”.  Using the Scor-Pal, score all 4 panels of the white card stock at every ½” going to two different directions creating a diagonal pattern.  Attach scored card stock to silver card stock.  Cut a piece of silver card stock at 3⅛”x3⅛”.  Attach it to the top of the box lid.  Cut a piece of white card stock at 3”x 3”.  Again score it at every ½” going in two directions to make a diagonal pattern.  Attach to silver card stock on the box top. Attach ribbon to the lid of box.  Cut 4 pieces of silver card stock at 1⅜”x 3⅛” and attach them to the sides of the box top.  Cut four panels of white card stock at 1 ¼” x 3”.  Score these four pieces of white card stock like the others pieces have been scored and then attach the scored pieces of card stock to the silver card stock on the sides of the box top.  Now you can add white pearls at the intersecting points on the scored card stock.  Add a bow to the ribbon on box top.  I cut some of the swirls and leaves from the Bella Rose die in silver card stock.  I trimmed just the swirls and I added them using zots on the top of the box around the bow.
Now it is time to work on the inside of the gift box.  Cut four panels of silver card stock at 3⅞”x 2⅞” and attach to the inside panels of the box.  Stamp four each of the 2 smallest flowers from the Regal Poinsettia 2 stamps in Versamark on both white card stock and vellum.  Add silver embossing powder to the stamped image and then heat set.  Using the Blossom 2 dies, cut out the embossed images.  On the vellum poinsettia cut in between the poinsettia petals to give them more dimension.  Layer the vellum poinsettias on top of the white card stock poinsettias suing zots.  Attach one large and on small poinsettia to each panel using Zots.   Again using the swirls and leaves die from Bella Rose cut it out several in white card stock with Big Shot.  I trim out on the swirls and added them around poinsettias on the four panels.  To make the gift card holder I cut two pieces of white card stock at 3½”x 1½”.  I stamped the holly leaves from the Regal Poinsettia 2 stamp in Versamark and added silver embossing powder and heat set on both pieces of white card stock.  Score the bottom of both pieces of the white card stock at ¼” and then glue the outside edge of the card stock.  Make sure not to apply glue the top edge as that is where you will put the gift card.  Adhere the bottom of the gift card holder to the center of the box using the scored sections. I cut on piece of silver card stock at 2⅞”x 2⅞”.  I cut it in half on the diagonal at attach on either side of the gift holder to hide where it is attached at the bottom of the box.
