Welcome to my Final Heartfelt Creations Wednesday!

I am sorry to say that this is my final Wednesday on the Heartfelt Creations Design Team.  The past six months have be a wonderful experience to able to work for such a fantastic company and talented team.  It has been a privilege and a honor.  My final project is a bouquet of flowers.  They are the best kind though, they are all created from paper and will last forever.    I used several different flower stamps and dies from Heartfelt Creations to create this arrangement.

Heartfelt Creations Products:

Other:  die cut machine, pink card stock, lilac card stock, lavender card stock, purple card stock, lavender and black diamond Stickles, pink and mauve netting, 22 gauge floral wire, floral tape, crystal gemstones, hot glue gun, Memento ink Tuxedo Black
Detail View of Rose
How it is made:

Stamp the various flowers on the colored card stock with Tuxedo Black ink.  Stamp one of each size of the stamp for each flower that you would like to make.  After all the stamping is completed, cut them out using the matching die and a die cut machine.  After all the flower petals are cut out, use the Paper Blossoms Molding Mat and Tool Kit to shape all the flower petals.   To assemble the flowers, glue the smallest to the largest in the center using the hot glue gun.  Attach the flower to the floral wire and then wrap the wire with floral tape.  In this bouquet there are roses, calla lilies, daisies, posies.  To help fill in the bouquet, cut a square of the netting and add it to a piece of floral wire and then wrap the wire with floral tape.  I also added bling to the bouquet by attach crystal gemstones to floral wire and then wrap the wire with floral tape.  Add lavender Stickles to the center of the daisies.  Add black diamond Stickles to the center of the posies.  Arrange the flowers in the vase and then add marbles to the vase to help hold the flowers in place.

Happy Wednesday!

Yes, it is that time again.  Welcome to Heartfelt Creations Wednesday.  I don't know about you but I can't every week until Wednesday.  No, not because we are almost to the weekend.  I love to see all the newest projects for Heartfelt Creations.  Today my project is a layout featuring the two newest releases, My Guy Collection and Western Elements Collection.  These two collections work so well together and are so versatile.

Detail view of fence and windmill

Other:  Memento Ink Tuxedo Black and Cottage Green, Memento Markers Tuxedo Black and Cottage Ivy, Colored Pencils light brown and pink, Gamsol, die cut machine, Copics Markers: E25, E29, E33, E37, E18, E23, E31, RV52, RV55, pop dots, Xyron Tape Runner, white card stock, black card stock, pop dots
Detail view of corner fence and rock

How it is made:

The base of the layout is a 12”x 12” piece of white card stock.  Stamp the fence image on the bottom left corner in Tuxedo Black ink and then color the image with markers and colored pencils.  I used the Gamsol on the area colored with pencils to help blend out the lines and give the image a smooth appearance.  Stamp the rock image near the fence in Tuxedo Black ink.  Color image with markers and pencils.  Again I add the Gamsol to the area colored with pencils to blend out the lines.   Stamp the fence image on a piece of white card stock.  Color the image with Copic markers and then cut out using the matching die and a die cut machine.  Stamp the windmill image on white card stock with Tuxedo Black ink and then color the image with Copic marker.  Cut out the image using a die cut machine and a matching die.  I attached blades of the windmill to the windmill base with a pop dot to give the image dimension.  I attached the windmill to the top right side of the layout.  I then added the fence on top of the windmill at the bottom.  Stamp two of the grass images on white card stock with Cottage Ivy ink.  Cut out the grass using a die cut machine and the matching die.  Attach the grass to the front of the fence area.  Stamp the flower image at the top right side of the layout with Tuxedo Black ink.  Color the image with markers and colored pencils, using the Gamsol to blend areas colored with the pencils.  Stamp several of the rope images in Tuxedo Black ink on white card stock.  Color the ropes with Copic markers.  Cut out the rope image with a die cut machine and the matching die cut.  One piece of rope is the right size for the 4” side of a picture.  To make a rope that will fit the 6” side of a picture, you will need two pieces of rope.  Cut one piece of rope in half using the lines on the rope as a guide.  Cut the ends off of both ends of the rope, again using the lines on the rope as a guide.  Attach one half of the rope to each end of the other rope.  Making sure that you place them so that your rope piece ends up being as long as you need it to be.  Attach the rope pieces to the picture to form a frame.  Cut a mat of white card stock at 5”x 7”.  Cut a mat of black card stock at 5 1/8”x 7 1/8” Attach pictures to the white mat and then attach to black card stock and then attach matted pictures to the layout.  Stamp the hat and boot image in Tuxedo Black ink on white card stock.  Color the image with Copic marker.  Cut out the image with a die cut machine and a matching die.  Attach the hat and boot to the corner of the pictures.
