For my card I cut white card stock to form card base. I cut a piece of plaid card and added to the center of the card front. I used "For your Special Day" from HCPC 3354 Classic Sentiments stamped with Memento Elderberry ink on white card stock. I then attached the to the center of the card front. I cut a mat of purple card stock and then I used a small oval die and a die cut machine to cut out the center of the mat to show the stamped sentiment. I stamped several of the HCPC 3500 Open Vintage Floret on purple card stock using Tuxedo Black ink. I then cut out the flowers using the matching die HCD 727 Vintage Floret and a die cut machine. I layered the flowers together and then added purple gemstones to the flower centers. I stamped the butterfly from HCPC 3499 Delicate Asters & Butterflies using Tuxedo Black on white card stock. I colored the image with Copic markers. I cut out the butterfly using the Les Papillions Spellbinders Die.

Interesting use of the plaid paper. I think you could use it for a masculine card as it does not have too much frou-frou.
